How much is my 198# Mongoose Pro frame and fork worth?

This was the #1 MTB in Mongoose's lineup at the time. I believe it is a 1986-1988 based on the components that came with it (6 speed XT M730). The frame is in good condition, the paint is fair to good. There is cable rub, chips and scratches but the frame is sound. I have been trying to sell it locally for some time but I don't believe there is much of a following for retro MTB and so I am looking to sell it online.

What do you believe is a fair price + shipping?

I like mongooses....mongeese............these
I've watched many on the bay so feel qualified to answer
sadly you probably won't raise more than £80 £100 tops including post
The ibocs are more desirable, esp with the ovalised toptubes
wanna trade

Yeah, I agree with the good Doc, from my limited experience and memory of seeing them for sale. I think they are very underrated and so don't seem to sell for much. Good for the buyer as every time I have seen one for sale, or any of the mid to late 80's Mongeese :) they go low. Good bikes but really better to be the buyer than the seller. Unfortunately.
They certainly don't seem to hold their money like the same era bmx.
