There was a time not so long ago, just before I was pointed to this site That I was going to just have one bike :shock: Since being on here I now have

1999 Chehalis Trek (X0,X9)
1999 R.S.P. 250 (XTR)
200X Mongoose Otero Elite (Sram X5)

1997 Cannondale R500 flatbar (Campagnolo)
All above complete or there abouts.

Frames 1990(ish) Carrera Krakatoa GT, 1997 GT Tequesta, 2009 Carrera subway 1.

Also at my Brothers in Plymouth is my Kermit

Not so many years ago I had all the bikes a man could ever need:
- ss mountain bike
- ss road bike
- geared road bike
- geared mountain bike
- cyclocross bike

Then need became want and things rapidly spiralled out of control to the point where I don't know how many bikes I have but the shed door won't shut properly without standing the commuter up on it's back wheel

However my shed is a relatively modest size and when I hear about the bikes that others own I feel inspired to seize the day and get more (usually less is more but in this case more is, well, more). The fever continues to burn within me and I'm a little scared that it will never abate.

Great quote RS! Six is probably a livable number if they were the right six. I'm currently a little over that number.
