I tend toward low end kit thats worth next to nowt and thus once I've built up and ridden for a bit they get stripped and given away sometimes to friends or charity. Another clearout beckons as I'm running out of storage space :lol:

Just had a rough count-up and got to 19! Some of those I bought for mates, messed around with them and then handed them over (some reluctantly :lol: )

amongst others, think i have had 13 or 15 bikes this year alone, and i have a salsa mukluk on order :oops:

around £23,000 on bikes and parts this year, scary, fun, an experience too but not something id like to do again in a hurry.

I'm not surprised - personally I'd consider that an obscene amount of money to spend in one year on bikes (or any hobby, for that matter).

But then I'm of the opinion that the amount of enjoyment that you obtain from something is almost in inverse proportion to the amount of money that you spend on it, probably because you don't feel that you've compromised other aspects of your life.

I haven't bought any bikes or frames this year, but then I can't really afford to and don't need to anyway 8)
