How can I replicate a GT paintjob?

you could also practice using warm treacle, just keep licking it off the frame until you get the technique right.....

Suggestion of the year! you'd be mad not to try this Rob. Just remember a reply is useless without photo's...

how about using shoelaces covered in paint and swinging the lace so it hits the frame?

a bit blue peterish or in a 'art atack' style of doing thing but you never know!

NO.....just get line drizzles going. Have seen it done in plants in Taiwan it's not difficult. Moderation. Mount about a half dozen spokes at different intervals on a board dip and go back and forth. Not rocket science.

Thanks, that's helpful gm1230126. I think I will try on the frame before I send it off to be powdercoated, then if it looks rubbish it doesn't matter as it will be blasted off anyway.

Do you know if it would be possible to get some decals for the frame? It's a 92 model Karakoram. I don't think the normal go-to man GilM has them on file and they would be expensive to redesign from scratch (not skilled in that department myself).
