How can I get rid of the REALLY annoying Teisseire ad?

It's the music. It's driving me crazy. Clicking on ad choices doesn't seem to have the option of removing it.

I accept we have to have ads on here, but it's that music, and how it takes you by surprise, especially as I have the volume turned up pretty loud most of the time, as I'm on a music forum a lot.

Anyone else getting the ad or is it just me?

I've just looked up adblock, and in Firefox, which I use, there's something called adblock plus which seems to be free. Not being very computer savvy, is it safe to just down load that?

Ghostery is another good blocker.
Ive not got it on this new computer yet, though im seriously considering it :? Blocks EVERYTHING.
No cookies tracking or otherwise and no ads period. It's basically just blank where the ads should be.
