Do the Sachs cranks work with Shimano chains?

I'm sure they do but it seems odd that they haven't sold as they are very pretty.

Do they have anything odd about them that would make them difficult to use with non Sachs components?

Oh and what size are the rings on them? The big ring looks quite small to me.

Rings are 42, 32, 22 and brand new
