Hope pistons

Hi all,

Have a set of DH4’s I’m refurbing.

Now the only thing I’m not sure on is the magnetic disc that holds the pads on.

Need to source or replace these.

Are they a magnetic putty placed into the dip or is it an actual disc type of thing?

Found out these are an interference fitting.

However need to know the material type of the pistons.

Anyone here aware of this or know a good route to find out?

Self adhesive magnetic sheet (fridge magnets) in various thicknesses & pre cut discs are freely available online.

Yes put these are a press fit into the actual piston. The self adhesive won’t last that long I assume?
