Hope Hub Identification

Hi all,

Can anyone shed some light on this, I initially thought it was a Bulb but on closer inspection its got 05-03-BIG engraved on it. Does that make it a Big 'Un? It's totally the wrong shape and year, unless Hope did a newer version?

It's definately a bulb.... Big-uns are um, bigger!

Even the second version big-un that went on a diet and lost some girth around it's middle still had the huge flanges and 5 bolt disc mount......... You have Big-Uns Little Brother

Are the spoke flanges the same both sides? As I have bulbs which are and xc's which have 1 bigger than the other, it's hard to tell from your pics

Scratch that it's a bulb as has 20mm through axle. Must learn to look twice post once.

Timoth27, the spoke flanges are different sizes, disc side is bigger

Ok that's weird, I'm not home at the mo but will have a look at mine in a bit.

Just looking at some pics on my phone my bulbs say 08-05-BL

So that's muddied the water even more???

I also have a gen 1 big un and it's deffo not one of those.

So managed to have a look at my hubs, sorry I was wrong about the bulb flanges being the same they are not it's just not as obvious as the xc's. it looks like I have an 01 front and and 05 rear bulb. My front looks just like yours so really don't know why it would say big on it, as Kult fiction says it's deffo not a big un.
