What about the fork mount Andy... any ideas?

The mount looks too contrived to be anything home made. Perhaps home adapted off a motorbike but its so hard to know as they seemed to make them custom, at least early on. We could find its a mount for one specific fork, made at the time for that along. Perhaps even a bike show display :?

The hole spacing :? I wonder if it matches up on an early marzocchi holes along the pressed flat section of the leg :?

its hard to see what fork it mounted to, definitely not an XC500. Will take the mount off the brake and add a pic. Going to try and get one made for the XC500.

For me it looks like a XC500, it has this 4 holes and I can see the end of the adjustment wheel on the top of the pic.

Where did you find that Fluffy?
In the Archive&Gallery where I stick anything I can of interest (I have a few other bits and bobs to try get up from people, I get there eventually)
They where posted by a member in the catalogue section, along with plenty of other Hope things. I did mess up the uploading though and other hope diagrams went up.

Thanks for sharing that - I see there are diagrams for other forks too in the archive - would be good to get them in this thread for reference.

Re:

Well the internet is a wonderful thing. I posted the diagram on a few FB pages and some one had an adaptor NOS in a packet just sitting in the shed. Will post some detailed pics once it lands. Hopefully it will do the job, at the very least it should be better than the one I have and can help to get a custom one made.
