Hope BigUn help - SORTED :)

i have a hope "BigUn" hub, i am using it for my kona manomano,
but i'd like to keep my 9 speed setup but the cassette body just wont take it.
so i am wondering if there is a cassette body i can purchase anywhere?
or if anybody knows if its possible to get a 9 speed cassette on the BigUns?
i believe these are the older versions.
i have contacted hope and i await a reply but i want to know if anybody here can help

I've got a hope big un with a 9 speed block on it with no probs

Poss post some pics of ur cassette and freewheel

do you know whether you have an old hub or a newer one?

As far as I am aware all biguns should cater for a 8/9 speed. If I recall correctly they came in in 1997 by which time 7 speed setups were all but faded out amongst the upper end stuff..

It would surprise me if they made one with a 7 speed cassette body.

ATM I'm running the newer one with 9speed cassette and have had in the past the older fatter ones with 9 speed on them

Old specialised p3 jump bike with big uns and 9 speed
So u should have no issues fitting

8/9 speed on there

My Chameleon build has Big Un's.....no issues with a 9 speed block, although it did look like it was going to struggle until I did the cassette lock ring up...then perfect.

Thanks guys, i managed to work out the problem, i had a cassette with quite big spacers in between the cogs.
i managed to get it sorted.
