Homemade Wheel Truing stand

Just thought I'd share my latest project in case it is of interest to anyone.

Had some clunky old SR 29er forks lying around in the shed for 2 years. Decided to turn them in to a wheel truing stand using them and a few other spares.

A bit of dis-assembly and a few cuts with the Dremel and here it is. Pretty pleased. Quite stable and easy to spread for different OLD wheels.

Nicely done. I have been thinking about building one for myself as well, although there are a couple good ones at work. I like the idea, now I will have to find a cheap fork.

That's really good. Wish I hadn't thrown away lots of what I thought were useless fork parts away now, not as useless as I thought.
