Sounds like a dedicated MX trail center may be an idea: no funding for nowt though these days...

Apparently they are at a site for mx bikes, they just sneak into the adjacent woodland, i suppose fixing the gaps in the fences would be a start as i guess that is where most the bikes originate.

The usual not thinking through the consequences combined with othering/dehumanisation of the "target". A visit to the daily mail comments section under any cycling related story reveals a lot of pent up anger against "cyclists".

Also happens here in Canada on the snowmobile and ATV trails, often on Crown land. People appoint themselves land manager, judge, jury, and executioner. It occurs with such frequency that the police put out yearly warnings. A couple of years ago a teen was nearly beheaded, neck guard prevented the fatality.

I've heard about the chopwell woods traps in the past, I've ridden there quite a few times. It's just bizarre that these are built mountain bike trails? It's not just kids using a dog walking route, what's wrong with people?
