Of course!! This is my Cyclone. It is in really really good condition with barely a blemish. By all accounts it was cycled for about 90 miles and kept in an attic for decades until I bought it. Have not used it in a while so this has inspired me to get back on it!!

This is my Super Mistral! Pride and joy. I have covered 100s and 100s of miles on it and it has never missed a beat!! More pics in the link on my sig!

I do not think any of these are shop models but I may be wrong.

Agree, I don't see any signs of integral seat post bolt or other features to suggest any of frames are a shop build.

Ha that is it in it’s previous form!! A lot of work and money went into it. The paint was worse for wear and it had a couple of diy amendments. Those Wolber wheels are solid and that Brooks saddle is the most comfortable one I have by far!! Kept and restored a lot of the bits. Sometimes wish I had got it painted the original colour but the team colours was a long time dream of mine at the time!

presumably you cannot get from the bb? if not (because of respray) check the steerer tube. That normally survives the test of time!!

Yes, looks nice in the team colors. I'd stay with that

I have been to this site too and the flicker photo's, already logged in the excel file. My conclusion is that it is a badly stamped 0 and therefore part of the 6 Digit series. 1984 fits the prediction, but there was some talk of it being 1982. I am currently reviewing the charts and might make some modification although I doubt it will change things significantly at the top end. I have a could of good dates for early 84 that would place this at the end of 84, one of the last true Holdsworths I assume. Accepting this is close to some other good dates I always advise that dates can still be out up to a year or so and should be a guide secondary to good model recognition.

It must be around the early/mid 80's due to the position in the number range, that is assuming it is correctly placed in the 6 digit series. Hard to imagine where else to fit it in the Holdsworth systems.

Just came across this site and topic.

I bought a Claud Butler frame in March 1980 in Dublin. It came with a Campagnolo Record Headset and seat clamp bolt and chromed Canpagnolo dropouts. It is 74 degrees parallel for 23 ½ inch. It is blue in colour with a white head tube and a white band on the seat tube. It has white block lettering on the down tube and the Olympic Rings on the head tube and seat tube. On the Holdsworth page of the 1978 Catalogue (http://www.nkilgariff/HoldsCats/Cat1978 ... ames78.jpg ) gives the specification for the Holdsworth Professional. This is exactly the same as my Claud Butler frame. The frame number is 012770 and is on the bottom bracket shell and fork steerer. I thought this might help with your numbering sequence.

Any information regarding these Claud Butler badged frames would be welcome.
