Hiya , new to site , got oldish GT, got some questions

Hi, ive recently bought a GT XCR 2000 not sure what year it is it needs a bit of work and parts im on the right site but am i in the right place for help with this bike ? Cheers Steve

on the site theres a pre 98 and post 98

the gt xcr is prob close to both cut off dates but ur poss get more help in the post 98 section

Welcome to the site !
XCR2000 appeared about 1999/2000 and I think they lasted a couple of years before being replaced/rebadged as the I-Drive series.

I don't know too much about GT full sussers so your best bet is to use the search bar on here to look for everything XCR2000.
