congrats - from one excited new owner to another new owner...have you decided what kind of a build your going to do ? do you go really trad and basic...or ultra light...oh joy of joys ..
I'm sure someone has already posed this question ....what is your ultimate spec for a rc200 frameset ?
my previous bike spec (before the rc300 bought 2weeks ago)... royce bottom bracket , cook brothers cranks , xt spd's ,rc35's,ringle zooka stem , renthal bars , x-lite stubbies , pulstar staight pull hub & araya rims(8spd) , ringle hubba bubba(super bubba ?) on mavic rims , syncros post , avocet ti rail saddle , xt thumbies , 2 finger brake levers and capped off with ringle ti-skewers.(all components pewter grey)....i thought it a pretty sweet ride !

I pretty much did my ultimate spec on my RC200, every single part was considered & then purchased for the build. (in signature) although the one thing I would change would be the ...nope cant think of it!
(alright maybe some ti bolts or something but other than that its there!)

Back in 92/93 a friend of mine (aged 16) built an Rc200 in gunmetal with purple cooks cranks, RC 30's, XT 7 speed, 231 CD's w/non parallax XTR hubs, ti USE pin, flite, purple control stix 2's etc. I remember the tyres being a smoke lite comp & a Psycho K on the front. What a bike!

Actually mine's fully rideable. Just waiting for decals, a Royce BB and matching wheels rather than the hotchpotch that's on at the moment.
Not sure it's "Ultimate spec" as the modern kit on my 303 outperforms it. But my idea of the best spec for this frame, without going all modern on it.
