Hi All

I am out in the hills, but work brings me into the 'city' a lot, I frequent Clachnaharry, as I usually swim my dogs there before heading home. They are seal aware, and alerted me to the pup.

It was a bonnie young thing, I stayed there waiting for it to come in for an hour after hearing it.

Charlie was good enough to come out and see it as it made off, he came back again the next morning and a rescue was made by the SSPCA.

I spent a lot of my youth out in the water watching and picturing mammals off the coast in Caithness, it sometimes felt like the seals were taking care of me. It was nice to offer a hand to one.

No worries, Jamie.

It all helps get to know you guys.

Thanks to everyone for your welcome. I'll join in when I can but work gets in the way sometimes (oh, for that lottery win!)...
