HELP unknown Ritchey frame

Retro Newbie
hi, i'm glad i bumped into this forum since i have been researching on exactly what kind of frame i have.
I have this old Ritchey frame that I got from a local bike shop. It has a chrome finish and the only thing that made me identified that its a Ritchey is a logo that is engraved on its drop outs. It also has a MEGAMO engraved on its head tube which is 1 1/8" serial number is RE9907118 it is commonly mistaken to be made from Ti but it isn't. its made from chromoly.
here are some photos (sorry if the quality isn't good). I hope somebody can help me identify this frame. thank you in advance fellas! :D

it looks exactly the same as the merlin frame that i had they turn up from time to time merlin had them made to build up for there mail order bike range cool frames though very very liverly any pics of the bottle cage mounts are they star mounts ;)

also megamo are a trials bike company now but they did used to make nice xc bikes from what i remember so its proberly one of them

yes it has star mounts for the bottle cage. the finish was dull when i first got this frame. it must have been sitting in that bike shop for some time because it took me numb arms and heck a lot of hours to clean and polish it but its all worth it.

any idea why it had the ritchey badge? thanks!

Just Ritchey manufactured drop outs, quite a few steel frames of the period used them, leads a few people to believe they have a Ritchey frame .

Frame is probably a Merlin as CK suggests, looks like a nice thing though, should build into a nice rig ;)

I didn't see any Ritchey "badge"....those are usually on the head tube....just dropouts and dozens of companies spec'd Ritchey dropouts at one time or another. If it were a Ritchey it would likely have fastback seatstays similar to these.

Merlin didn't weld steel frames :?
And they created their own dropout in 6-4 titanium…

The oval section diagonal tube couldn't be ritchey ;)

it is a megamo. similar model of it is the megamo columbus.
