I just bought a 1986 Timberline with a very hard to read serial: I'm reading 1Z070329.
There's a completed listing for an '85 Timberline on eBay showing GT4K1377.

That's awesome, thank you. I don't have many early ones yet.

The format of yours is unfamiliar, so if you manage to decipher it further, please let me know (could try a rubbing?). Is it possible the number starts with a T rathe than a 1? Although the Z would then still be very confusing.

a 2000 (as of invoice) Zaskar Race N° KU9F1029 (that I suppose was a 1999 build)
a 1999 or 2000 XCR-4000 N° AN0904079
and a very badly repainted steel frame (perhaps a Panomar) N° MYE69839
any info on the steel frame would be interesting as I will be restoring it soon.
