Interesting, is the second character definitely a 1? If so, it is very early for the move from T stamping to H stamping. That should indicate October 1991 production, which would be possible as I have evidence of one 1992 model stamped H. Does it have a rear ubrake (seat stay mounted)?

I'm not aware of any way to tell the model from the H serials, but given there was an overlap between T and H stamping, it seemes the lower end modles went to H before the higher ones.

Photos, or some additional details would help narrow it down. Does it have an integrated seat clamp and horizontal dropouts? If so, I think that narrows it down to Timberline, Talera or Outpost. Traces of original paint might help distinguish between those threee. I'll think about whether there are any other clues between them.

There should be some difference between the Timberline and the Talera/Outpost frames, because I think that year the Timberline was True Temper and the other two were Tange, but whether there are any features that make that obvious or not I'm not sure - possibly different seat post size, but that doesn't help if it's not the original.
