Does any body have any pictures, magazine scans, spec information etc on the Raleigh Team bikes as ridden by Hinton, Baker, Clarke, Timmis, Ford (British Downhill Champion  ) and Alexander BITD?

You know the one - blue front and rear, yellow main tubes!

Any help appreciated.

thats PaulupNorth's bike. Very nice, owned by Timmis but I don't ever remember Raleigh with XTR M900 - was thinking they ran Campag or Xc-Pro? And what finishing kit - Zoom?

I cant remember off the top of my head.

I do remember the MBUK did a feature on David Bakers bike once in their Works Bikes section; I used to have it on my bedroom wall as a kid!

I am sure they had XTR, but I know Baker used to run a pair of XT thumbies as he like 'simplicity', hence he always rode rigid. Alexander, and the rest, ran Mag21's.

i remember reading the one thumby thing, was it to do with being so spent at the end of a race that he only had the energy to lean on a thumby to change gear?
