I only had a few Sanfa serials recorded, so this helps add detail for those. Based on that, my current thinking is:Couple more Hodaka and some Sanfa (?) numbers:
- SAS prefix used until they changed it to just S in 1998
- Followed by a similar system to Hodaka - next number is the year of production, then the letter is the month?
- If the letter does give the month (I haven't seen this confirmed/denied) then it seems Hodaka and Sanfa used different systems - e.g. Sanfa have some with the letter I but I think Hodaka skipped that
Some more Hodaka frame numbers would help confirm/disprove the month theory.
