Help on Decals/Transfers

Looking to get a full set of transfers for a Raleigh Superbe. I looked at a seller on ebay but I havent heard back from them for about 3 days now. I was wanting to know what would be best to get out of Vinyl, Dryfix and Waterslide? And would I need to apply some form of UV protection to them before the topcoat?

I deal exclusively (apart from some small Colnago and Campagnolo derailleur decals from Spain) with these guys. Top quality vinyl decals, well packaged and generally about 20% cheaper than Lloyd. They have special offers and sales too.

Lloyd is pretty awful to deal with. I've met him a few times at bike jumbles over the years. Up his own ar#e mostly, and very proud to have gotten an exclusive reproduction decal deal with Reynolds tubing (I hope it cost dearly). I bet he's on eBay eight hours a day chasing down anyone who would dare sell reproductions. Unfortunately there are still tons of originals available online which he can't do zip about. And they are generally a lot cheaper than his repros.

Fortunately I bought a load of Reynolds decals from a very nice Ukrainian lad last year at great prices before Lloyd got him bumped from the platform.

These guys above Egovinyls are great for small decals, they make lots of reproduction decals for rare chsinsets and derailleurs. Also they sell the 'Record' decal which would replace the Record Carbon and Record rear derailleur decals which are easily damaged.

I bought a load of these from him when they were 2 euro a pop. Also suffered at the digital hand of Mr Lloyd. I wont say what he said about him, but in Spanish it's pretty brutal!

All printed on top end 3M vinyl with archival 150 year inks. No need for any UV protection. Unlike other brands, these guys use the very best production print machines and materials available. They use proper gold foil for their Mavic and vintage Columbus decals. Especially like their Spinergy decals and Campagnolo Record Carbon replacement products. Good prices too, cheap shipping to Europe/UK

The entire cycle decals production history is pretty wild, it's a great story, full of double dealings, betrayals and revenge! Maybe start a thread on it.
