P.S the Delgado pic is kind of interesting, because a few of his 'Pinarello's' had these weird aluminium lugs... esp around '88. http://elvinosaurio.blogspot.co.uk/2013 ... s-rex.html (a few pics down).
Edit: I think there are not so many hard and fast rules on the Montello, the one in your pic has a different rear cable stop for the rear mech, if they were building lots and they ran out of bits, they were going to change a few, plus they changed the build a few times with different parts. One thing, ride it, it should be razor sharp handling and really nice to ride, they are great bikes, I miss mine, although its not far away, in storage.
Good luck with it. I still have money sitting by for the right one, but its been a lot of searching and no luck as yet. There is a lot of poor examples out there and they are old so make sure its sound.
