Hello

WOW It looks like new. Is it really good condition or does the pic not show the wear?

Hi

Welcome to the forum ;) . Now I do like a nice Rourke , and that is a very nice Rourke . Maybe you could take some pictures out on a ride , let us know what you think of it

Yes the bike really is that clean. It has only a few very minor marks, a superb example which has been pretty much wrapped in cotton wool by the original owner. The sale was a very reluctant one on his part, forced upon him really as he is going to work in Hong Kong for 4 years, a really nice bloke too. Suffice to say I promised to keep it in the manner to which it has clearly become accustomed.

I will definitely post some further pix once i get out and about on the bike, together with some thoughts on how if rides. Its components are all pretty much Compagnolo which I'm unfamiliar with - so I'm looking forward to the test run - Have to say that aesthetically they look superb!

Classy looking bike :) a little too modern for me as I'm a child of the 70's LOL

Unusual not to have the seat stays wrapping round which is signature style.

Beautiful bike, that's a classy purchase! Some nice tan wall tyres would finish it off nicely! ;)

Saddle is a Cinelli Volare SLX - darn rare in new condition. Regularly push £80 to £100 on a certain auction site, I should know, been after one for months & months!

Re:

Finney was spot on about the saddle, i have given it a bit of a polish since getting it but like the rest of the bike it is in remarkable condition. I do have a close up picture and will post it
