just came across this great forum through an ad on ebay.great to see some many users on here.i used to be a cycle courier bick in the 80's/90's and got into mtb's because of that.my first one was saracen tufftrax.bought that for £299 in 1988.loved it.have now just bought an old mid 90's saracen rufftrax for £20 quid from ebay and it rides perfect.thinking of upgrading parts on it.malcolm

Hi Malcolm, welcome.

This forum is addictive. I too joined with the idea of upgrading one bike, and can testify that it's hard to stick to that idea.
I have 3 now, and that's after roughly 4 months.

Run away while you still can.
