headshok air valve bung

The air valve in a headshok is on the underside of the fork crown so catches mud thrown off the front tyre.

Is there such a thing as a cover fkr it?
If not, what have you used?
At present im using insulation tape but looking to make a cover outa coke bottle top.

I've used one of the little plastic fender/mudguards, A mucky nutz thing. It's not very retro but covers the valve area and gives a bit of protection.
