I sent two frames off to Bob Jackson about 4 weeks ago. At the time they said c. 5 week lead time. They sounded very busy and were not taking bookings as such.. basically just send your frame in and they’ll paint on a fcfs basis.

Reminds me.. need to give them a chaser..

So... on Bob Jackson... gave them a chaser on my frames. Notwithstanding them telling me 5 weeks when I posted them off mid-Oct, it is now 10 weeks lead time for repaints.

In my case, that means before Christmas. Maybe.

I'd hope you'll get them before Christmas - as their website does say they're closing their doors for good on the 18th December

I'd think if they still have outstanding work they'd carry on a little, they don't seem to be the type of people to just leave it undone.

Gotta admit I'm glad I didn't open this thread to find Argos had decided to close as well!

So... Bob Jackson apparently NOT now closing on 18 Dec. Go figure. Good news though. Very pleased to see this - not least because they are sitting on two of my frames!
