The key is not rubbing your eyes (easy to forget in the morning when you wake up) and make sure you put the antibiotic drops in your eyes according to the prescription schedule.
After mine, I ended up swapping out all the prescription lenses in my glasses for regular clear lenses in case I wanted to wear them on occasion. My friends thought I was nuts but I'd spent a small fortune in nice frames over the years and it seemed a shame to toss them.
