You had everyone excited then... but sorry to say your Conquest is an 87 or 88 I think,
Have a look at the link here http://www.retrobike.co.uk/gallery2/d/1 ... n_1987.pdf It has diffrent forks and seat tube cluster looking at the pic you posted.

Agreed it's an 87 but I think that's cooler - by 89 it's all about the kilis.

87/8/9 - they're all hens teeth and unicorn poo. I think this is the only known 87 conquest (?)
