Hello everyone,
I wanted to introduce you to a not-very-common mountain bike, a De Rosa steel columbus Max or oriented elliptical with a campagnolo euclid groupset and pirelli off road tyres. I contacted the De Rosa family to get more information and it was confirmed to me that these mountain bikes were only welded by Ugo De Rosa because it was a very complicated frame to weld.
I haven't done much maintenance work on the bike, as you can see from the photos it's new, the old owner never used it for fear of ruining it, the cost of buying this bike in 1990/91 was very high, it wasn't in any catalogue and you could only buy it in factory with long waiting lists and it was made to measure like an elegant suit.

For those who do not know the history of De Rosa

Beauuuuuuutiful 😲 I'm a sucker for Max OR and this is just stunning

Stunning bike, what a find! Need more photos of the seat cluster area though!

It´s interesting to see a later (92? 93?) Max OR tubeset on a bike with oldschool wheelbase and earlier Euclid components.
