As much as I like Stx, the compact chainset looked wrong on this bike imo.

Its been replaced with Dx along with both mechs.

Aye the weather has gone really down hill atm but at least they are only on for the moment mate and it's better to stop that spray off the tyres as it's no fun when you've got a long trip to do in the rain and any way that mudgaurd doesn't stop the bike from still looking " Awesome " mate ..

Fluffychicken has very kindly given me a mint dx/mavic 231 wheelset for this which look so much better than the all black and far too modern wheels it was sat on.

Yep i have to agree the silver rims look so much more in keeping with the Haro compared to the black even though the colour contrast is much better with the black the silver for me looks more period correct ..

It is so much more satisfying when your bike setup looks and feels like it should ..

liked the black rims to be honest , but that's in photos , will look different in the flesh ( steel)
Still one I need to add to the collection though
