Very much remember him, in fact watched a fairly recent 1hr program of him doing adventure rides which was available on the BT Vision on demand service. I don't think he spent more than 2 minutes on both wheels at the same time in the entire program

Hans Rey still rides GTs, he does freeridey stuff and travels around in a motor home.

Sooo true, there were much better trial riders then Hans Rey bitd, but he was the just the best in a commercial way. Lots of show and media attention but certainly not the best (imho not even close to the best). Good showman though

HANS no way RAY is my hero he's why i started trials riding bitd i meet him once i couldn't talk but he signed my shirt and let me have a go on his ZASKER trials bike i was the happiest 15 year old in the world at that point but the t-shirt died :cry: :cry: :cry:

Hans is still doing his amazing tricks now-he appeared at the Fairfax MTB festival last year.

He does a lot of work in Africa now, see his current website below, stuck with GT all the way, who IMHO still made the best riding hardtail period, the master of them all
