Handlebar tape red or two tone red yellow

I am currently re jiggling my Bates B A R . I have had the bars taped in plain red . I have found some Italian two tone bar tape which dates back to the 1970s. Red / Yellow, it is none adhesive so I have run it over the top of the plain red . So which one .
Red.
Red yellow.
It know the latter is not period for the bike . I do like garish colours however
So which finish .answers please gents .

I say red and yellow. The barbers pole down tube and forks have been done in days gone by(still is being done!) so why not do the bars?
I think it will work well being in close proximity to the headtube. Might not work if the colours were not a good match but they look to be from your pic. The solid colour tape looks a bit too pink tbh.
