Hand Pump Garden Sprayers

Used one BITD when racing. OK for removing dust but not enough power to shift sticky mud.

if you fit a shrader valve to the main vessel then attach it to one of those
cheap small electic tyre pumps (£5 at most petrol stations)
set the pressure to 30 psi (or so) they work qutie well
for a hose down before you go home

They require a lot of pumping but are V handy for getting the worst off before you load up the car.

I use them for a few things, your best off spending a bit more cash & buying a genuine Hoselock one, the ebay cheapies dont last & tend to split on the mold seams I've found

Tried one but it was a bit long-winded, TBH. In cases of mudzilla, I pop into the local coin-operated jetwash on the way home and spend 50p for a thirty second light blast-over. Works well if you click your SPD shoes into the pedals.

Only from about 2-3 feet away and just to get most of the mud off before I get home. Most times I don't even take it off the rear rack!
