I've always wanted an rts 1, 2 or team since I was a poor student back in the early 90's. Are these frames easy to source (without a crack) these days ? I'd love to build one up but I need their largest size.

The biggest problem is one thing leads to another and by next Christmas you'll have more than just one in the workshop/workstand

Thanks for the warm welcome. I only discovered you guys even existed a few days ago. That was followed by a shortlist of all of the bikes I wanted back then that I either couldn't afford or couldn't get. The list then got long - particularly when I saw some of the photo's of some peoples bikes. This could get pricey.
I now want a GT RTS and LTS and maybe a mountain cycles San Andreas.....
