Right you cut what off with a Dremel ?, your crank :shock:
But you got the crank back on to test out the new chainring and the cranks fell off :shock: , answer to the last question is pretty tight, there will be a torque setting for the crank bolts, probably something like 35 Lb in but most would just tighten them up then maybe check them after a few rides.
Back to the pedal question recommended pedals, NC17 Trekers, cost about £25 from chainreactioncycles.com , they are single sided for clips and straps, they do not come with clips and straps but these can still be bought easily, pedals are very light though.
Is anyone interested in the wheels seen in this picture?
They do need to be made true, they also need a bit of a clean and will require some tape. The front wheel is a Mavic 217 SUP and the rear is a Campagnolo.
