GT RTS All Terra Mountain Bike with Girvin Vector Forks

This is the best thread I've read in ages... the highs, the lows, the sweat, the tears, the bleeding ears.

Good Luck SD.

Well done the rest of you for top trump 20 questions.

Ah, I got a dremel rotary tool and cut that bad boy off.

I tried installing the new Front Chainwheel and when I tested it out both arms dropped off the bike.

How do I securely attach them?

Holly crap  , this thread is better than a soap opera :D

Right you cut what off with a Dremel ?, your crank

But you got the crank back on to test out the new chainring and the cranks fell off  , answer to the last question is pretty tight, there will be a torque setting for the crank bolts, probably something like 35 Lb in but most would just tighten them up then maybe check them after a few rides.

Back to the pedal question recommended pedals, NC17 Trekers, cost about £25 from chainreactioncycles.com , they are single sided for clips and straps, they do not come with clips and straps but these can still be bought easily, pedals are very light though.

Super sweet, I found the crank bolts and tightened them!

Now the pedals are fixed onto the chainwheel correctly.

Thank you all!

Is anyone interested in the wheels seen in this picture?

They do need to be made true, they also need a bit of a clean and will require some tape. The front wheel is a Mavic 217 SUP and the rear is a Campagnolo.
