It's been up for sale for a few weeks. You could ask the seller if you could go and see it, then try to make a deal. In terms of justifying spending, how much do the original A'ME waffle grips go for now? Those look in pretty good condition, so you could always lie to yourself and pretend you will sell them and make some/most your money back.

Those GT A'me grips can go for strong money and don't come up very often. I need some to help bring my 1990 Team Avalanche to original spec.

I wish we could still buy those GT A'me grips without having to sell a kidney to do so. I have Vans X Cult grips on both my 1992 GTs as they resemble the A'me grips but are bulkier.
