GT Frame sizes

IIRC, 18" is the GT large size, so I'd guess 16" would be their small.

I know when I owned a 2007 Avalanche Expert, that was an 18" marked Large.

I had a 16" Zaskar back in the days.
The 16inches were indeed measured center to center.
So the frame was as high as an 18" Kona measured center to top.

The top tube felt a lot shorter than on the 18" Kona, though.
If you feel comfortable on your GTs, stop worrying.

I never got used to the relation between seat- and toptube lenght.
A GT frame long enough for me would habe been too high and the other way around.

Edit: I`m 6feet tall with rather short legs and long torso.

I'm 5'11" and I've got two 18" GT's and a 16" GT. The 18" frames are definitely a better fit for me. The 16" Karakoram is a little bit too short, which makes for a comfortable more upright riding position, but gets a little cramped over longer distances.
I also ride a 14" DMR, a 17" Marin, a 17.5" Orange and two 19" Saracens.
