It's a 16inch. (I may have jazzed mine up a bit ) I bought it as a frameset with mismatched forks about 2 years ago...I built it up pretty much as original to start with but didn't ride it, then I decided to try something else with it and its a totally different, relaxed ride, in this set-up

They are Fairdale Mx-4 bars. (4 inch rise)

I've just got a Fairdale MX 6 for my GT Tempest, going down from 9" Haro bars to 6" has actually improved the feel and handling, wish I had done it sooner. Those Fairdale bars are really nice and gives me more reason to ride the Tempest more frequently in turn with my other GT's.

Yes, they are great... and reasonably priced too. I still have some GT pretzel bars from one of my old BMX's from 40 years ago but they are just too big for a MTB, for me...
