Would like to try and find these parts to restore a 1991 Zaskar 18"

Also trying to find out waht was the standard seatpost and seat from '91?

GT catalogue is in the archive - should have spec there.

Think 1991 was 26.8 seatpost but best have a look at others on here and see what the opinion is.

According to the catalogue it was Tioga Prestige on the Xizang and Team Avalanche and GT/True Temper on the Zaskar/Avalanche/Karakoram Elite.

I'm not at home to check, but I'm pretty sure my '91 Zaskar and Karakoram Elite both have the GT/True Temper seat post.

Yep, same as the ones on my Zaskar, not that the pics are great, with the adjustable offset.

I have a spare set of black '92 GT bars, but they're off a Karakoram, so not the duraluminium ones that were on the Zaskar. Look the same, but not as light.
