Yes they are.
Prone to cracking, especially around the bolt thst clamps them to the bars, mine have cracks but still work fine.
Work great and are nice & light too.

I second this, I had a set on a lovely Dynatech I picked up that had hardly been used. First twist of the gripshift and the entire thing smashed to pieces in my hand!! :(. Ahhh well, I have a lovely set of purple sharktooth grips for them if anyone interested lol...
