Can anyone help me by explaining exactly how the cable should be routed within the left shifter (for front mech) on a Grip Shift SRT800 X-Ray shifter? The right shifter has the cable end stop within the non-moving part of the shifter and then loops round the housing onto the moving twisted part. The left shifter has the cable end stop on the moving shifter part (unlike the right shifter), but what I'm not sure is if the cable should be looped around or just comes straight out of the shifter????
It looks like the cable should go straight out without a loop but it feels really stiff when turning the shifter in one direction.....
Any help would be appreciated.
