grip choice?

I've never really given grips much thought, but having built up my sts, the red 'the' grips I have, whilst really nice and comfy, don't suit the colour scheme as they are red and black, and the build is mostly black and silver with a little bit of blue anno and blue edged sts and gt decals.

Can anyone recommend a nice set of grips that would suit, preferably lock ons? There are plenty of cheap ones out there, with blue collars, but should I go that route or aim for quality? I've always thought grips are grips, but I'm sure there is more to them and my sts deserves something nice if it's worth spending extra.

i like odi grips,
i think its a case of get softer if you dont where gloves, harder if you do but not sure on that, theres to many to choose from inc if you like thick or thin ect, best bet go a good local shop and cop a feel

As of late i have been loving the odi ruffian lock on grips. I put about 20 miles on them mon-fri for the last 4 months and they have been holding up very well. I particularly appreciate the lock on design in general due to the fact that i can rotate the grips every few weeks to achieve maximum longevity as well as an even 360 degrees of consistent ware. I am building a load bearing/commuting/grocery getter bike right now with some classic, non clampin on lizard skin charger grips. These things as well as the odi attack grips epitomize bang for the buck when it comes to durability, comfort, and longevity imho..
