Always keep in mind this is no longer the ebay of old, but a heartless business who cares only about the bottom line.

Like their new policy of retaining the funds from the buyer for 2 days after the item has been received. This is only about the money they will collect in extra interest payments.

Probably only set to get worse.

Yup, it sucks that they hold on to your money once the item has been delivered but I've noticed that now, the amount earned (in your balance) can still be used against eBay purchases even before it's eligible to be withdrawn (which I haven't noticed before).

Ha! That must've been a glitch. Just sold a coupla things but money won't reach my eBay balance till beginning of March
Also, I relisted a few items and eBay have added a compulsory buyer protection fee to my starting price - I guess that's how they're gonna make their money. I did wonder why a few items I'd been watching had been relisted at a higher price

The money is available in 48 hours after delivery. If you don’t use a tracked delivery then it’ll be the date you’ve been given.

Yeh that's what I thought, but I sold a couple of items last week and the money was available in my balance straight away to use on eBay purchases (although not available to be withdrawn until after delivery). Maybe that still applies if I use eBay's tracked delivery

Mines just stuck in cyberspace somewhere until items are delivered. It will be ok, just means I have to input every tracking number manually because I only use RM / PF and don't buy it via ebay.
Screen currently shows this but there is ~£350 somewhere.
I sold a few bits this week and two were delivered on Thursday yet one will go into my funds tomorrow, the other on Monday.

Sold a couple of items since the new fees came into affect. Money was with me 2 days after delivery.

The issue I had a while back with a fork I sold was also resolved by eBay. Seller got their money back and eBay reimbursed me too. So quite happy with that.
