Great news. Ebay drops seller charges!

Nobody has mentioned 'Brexit', but I used to find my main market for bike sales and purchases was with fellow Europeans. The import duties have killed it both ways...
Yeah, absolutely right. I can't buy anything from the UK (I used to have regular account at Screwfix) anymore. 22% each way sales tax just makes no sense.

But you can see Starmer crumbling about rejoining s trade union, especially if Trump turns the screw then it's Europe Vs the World, there simply won't be any wiggle room left for anyone.

Yes, without this becoming overly political, the only good thing that Trump is doing is potentially pushing UK back towards Europe, but that's not his intention!

Order, gentlemen.
Please.
😉
You've got to laugh though - by intended stupidity, Trump persuades the powers that be (mostly the city of London) that rejoining a customs union is the only sensible step forward. Thus making Europe stronger, more resilient and able to compete with the US.

The benefit for Trump is that they will likely not have to support an armed US presence in Europe, nor provide air cover or nuclear protection for the bloc, nor fund NATO. So it'll be down to France and the UK to up their nuclear arms strategy to combat and threat from the east.

Overall, counting personnel costs and operating bases, US military presence in Europe is estimated at $35.1billion in 2024. If the yanks reduce that to a skeleton presence who wins? Putin probably.

Well, the question I keep asking myself is why tf are we paying for military presence anywhere but UK and bombing cities hundreds of miles away from us when back home the ambulance workers are striking, police and teachers are underpaid and the healthcare system is crumbling, while business owners end up paying over 60% in taxes once you add everything up.

5% "protection" money to ebay doesn't seem that bad any more.
