Great news. Ebay drops seller charges!

Sold a couple of items since the new fees came into affect. Money was with me 2 days after delivery.

The issue I had a while back with a fork I sold was also resolved by eBay. Seller got their money back and eBay reimbursed me too. So quite happy with that.

I’ve spoken to eBay on several occasions and they’ve always been really good on both business and personal accounts.

Most recently on my private account I managed to get a negative feedback removed after the nut case purchased a item 1 day before Xmas , and then messaged to ask why it hadn’t arrived on Boxing Day night.

Me too - had one removed two weeks ago after the buyer kicked off about a £30 pair of wheels being scrap and said he was leaving me negative feedback, then left me the neg before anything was sorted. Quick online chat and all sorted.

The money is available in 48 hours after delivery. If you don’t use a tracked delivery then it’ll be the date you’ve been given.
I sent a set of wheels via ebays GSP earlier this week, using Parcelforce 24hr tracked at my end. The Parcelforce tracking info I have confirms the wheels have been delivered to the GSP centre (actually they delivered them on the evening of the day I sent them  - I guess RM know they are open for evening deliveries) but 2 days on an they still aren't showing as 'delivered'/received and as such the 48hrs after delivery process hasn't even started yet, and funds aren't showing my account yet.

New system isn't great.

Not sure about GSP as I never use it unless it’s for a specific person.

You pay selling fees still on GSP still though now don’t you? So maybe the process is different.

I've found it to be very reliable if a little pricey for the buyer, but yes there is still a nominal fee for it's use.

The payment 48hrs after delivery is supposed to commence from delivery to the GSP centre in such cases, so it's frustrating that they haven't acknowledged it has been delivered. In fact I've checked the item tracking and can see it's actually already been dispatched from the GSP on it's way to the states!

Yeh I’ve not had issues with the actual process but the buyers themselves

I’ve noticed the items have increased by £2.50 odd. Across the board
Yup, eBay have decided to pass the seller charges onto the buyer. I listed a few items last weekend and when they went live I noticed that the price of each had increased (while still showing my original price in My eBay).

Only notable GSP issue I remember was when a country wanted to put import tax on that the buyer is liable for, but not my problem. Easily solved. You do pay extra fees though, but not much.

Thanks. So seller gets all the money and we pay more to cover it. Figures.
