Graphics Shack - Retro MTB decals

MikeBee

Retro Newbie
Has anyone ordered anything from this web site and actually received anything?

Ordered some replacement decals for my retro Kona on the 8th July and not received anything yet despite payment going through and emailing to chase twice.

Would not recommend using them based on my experience, so thought it worth letting others know.

Is there anywhere else to go to get the correct decals for my bike??

EDIT: Got my decals from Graphics Shack. Really pleased with them :)

I was recommended this site by a regular contributor on Retrobike.

The guy that I corresponded with at Graphic Shack sounded very keen to help in the begining, then stopped replying. I re-tried both the original e-mail address that I had been given, and the e-mail address from which I received my original reply, but had no response from either.

As I hadn't actually placed an order, I didn't chase this any further - I had merely requested the items and asked how would he prefer my payment. It's curious that you also seem to have a lack of communication from them.

I would recommend Gil M - I have 2 bikes with his decals fitted.

I use both Gil_m and Garry at Graphic shack, both are exceptional.

In fairness, Garry at graphic shack has been on annual leave for two weeks, this was displayed on the company website and also on there company answer phone.

Graphic shacks work, i feel is fantastic, if i havent been able to source decals, and no one has them on file to make them, garry will do the artwork from scratch, and replicate the originals, 100% accurate...!!! I have had to do this for my konas, and it takes time..... , also Garry will laminate decals if needed (makes the decals far more hardwearing and thay last longer if not lacquering.) this process takes a lot longer..(drying times etc).

Garry doesnt just do graphic design and decals, he runs a custom paint shop too, and this work is also fantastic, and i know he has sum stunning detailed stuff on the go for retro bikers at the moment....

I have also just recieved my stuff back from garry at graphic shack, as he has now returned from annual leave.....and yet again the quality of both his paint and decals, left me speechless.......its amazing...!!!!!!!

Hes a really nice guy give the fella a ring, hes probably getting through the order book as we speak, and catching up...!!!

Thanks for all the replies guys. I will try and contact Garry again.

I didn't see anything on the website about him being on leave, nor did I get an any info in the email confirmation of my order.

Fair play to him if he's been on holiday. Will post back when I've chased the chap down :)

Used GraphicsShack a couple of times, been pleased with the service, delivery has been prompt.

Also bought a couple of GT sticker sets from StickyBikes (Zaskar and Bavado), seem high quality for a fair price.

BTW Sinnerman, are the stickers on that Clockwork laquered over ?

I can also vouch for both Gill and Graphic shack. I have been using Graphic shack for my requirements for over a year now and certainly cant fault Garrys's workmanship. He is always flat out busy but I pass his studio every day and pop in when I need to. He has made 3 sets of custom decals from scratch for me on info I have provided.

Im sure Garry will sort you out

Yes, I've ordered from Graphic Shack before now and can confirm that, whilst they did take a while to arrive, the quality was excellent. Ditto Gil M...

We'd be lost without them...
