Goodbye to my friend

Angels don't bark - but they do wag their tails a lot and lick your face in the morning after jumping on the bed with muddy paws

Had a dog, Border Collie, for many years, took it to work each day etc.

Got new job and had to give dog away to worthy new owners. Was in bits for weeks :(

Weird how they have that effect. Know an ex copper (dog handler) who was similar when he lost his.

I'm sure she enjoyed owning you aswell Gadro.

Remember watching a little interview one time with Mickey Duff the jewish east end boxing promoter, some shenanighans (sp?) had gone on within the industry and halfway through the interview Duff checked the interviewer after he had used the word 'loyalty' and asked him had he heard the wording correctly (he had). Once it was confirmed he had heard the word (loyalty) Duff came close to the interviewer and placed his hand on his arm and whispered in a conspiratol manner 'this is professional boxing son, you want loyalty....you buy a dog'. He was'nt wrong.

Sorry to hear that mate, losing Scampi, my German short haired pointer was really tough, especially as I was away in Iraq at the time. Ruby, my choccy lab has at least partially cheered me up over it though.

What do you do on the PRT's in Afghan mate? I'm working out in Baghdad supporting USACE at the moment.

What beautiful dogs, and what a great life they must have had with such a loving owner.

al. :(
