Going back to Campy brakes!

My dad's pink Pearson has a full compliment of campy stuff, apart from the brake calipers, someone replaced them with 105's. The question is how do I know which brakes it would have had? All the campy stuff just has Campagnolo on it, no model numbers! Any help greatfully received.

you mean like in the definitive reference site, campyonly.com?
Frankly tuttocampagnolo.com was a lot better, though it disappeared a while back.

I don't much mind Americans saying "Campy" - after all, they can't be expected to know any better - but a Briton using the Americanism does jar a little. It's always been "Campag" over here, here being where the heart is.

In the physical here, it's "Campa".

UNfortunately Campy has gay associations in UK English. ;)

Indeed - it's often been pointed out that Campy sounds a bit, er, well, camp. There's potential for a Round the Horne-esque "Bona Bikes" sketch in there somewhere..... ;)
