Thanks Fiks , Looks like I've maybe got a Gios. The frame is just like the ones in your links except for the added braze ons and the orange yellow and white one is the way the seller described the frame before he got it re-sprayed.

Having now studdied the photos in the links posted by fiks it's pretty clear I've a genuine Gios Lite c 2000 ish. The frame is identicle except for the added braze ons.

I'm a happy chappy.

Daft question, but where does the other end of the pump go? I can't see a second pump peg with my 1950's vision LOL

The other end of the pump goes on the quick release skewer - assuming you have it in the correct position. That is pointing upwards between the seat stay and chain stay.

There are some differences.

No cutout in the lower head lug:

I think the frame is a Gios Evolution frame, they were painted blue/green

And they had a metal head badge... It is def an original Gios frame as its the same as my evolution frame.
